The court ruled in favor of Musk, “The Court lacks jurisdiction. However, plaintiffs are not without recourse. The plaintiffs voiced their displeasure with the decision. According to Musk’s legal representatives, the layoffs were carried out by the conditions outlined in the acquisition deal. They contended that the offered severance benefits were reasonable and consistent with industry norms. One of Musk’s attorneys stated, “Our client has acted within the bounds of the law and the agreements made during the acquisition.”
